Items Allowed for Viewing
Items in the museum’s collection and equivalent items
Eligibility for Viewing
- An individual working for a public, educational, academic or research institution who wishes to view the material(s) in question for research purposes
- A researcher with a master’s degree or higher who wishes to view the material(s) in question for research purposes
- An individual who has completed the master’s degree program and is writing a thesis after receiving a recommendation from the dean
- An individual whose reason for viewing the material(s) in question is approved by the director of the museum
Viewing Procedure
- Fill out and submit an application form for approval of viewing and other required documents
- Receive approval from the museum to view the material(s) and submit a results report
- Note that the museum staff will provide guidance in order to ensure safe handling of the artifact(s)
Attention
- Those who have received approval to view certain items in the museum’s collection may take photographs for research purposes. However, in case there are plans to publish the photographs online or in print form (research paper, etc.), an application form for approval of reproduction must be submitted
- The copyright and any other legal rights to the photographs taken belong to the Jinju National Museum. They may not be used for purposes other than what has been approved of or be secondarily reproduced (e.g. transferred to a third party, etc.)
- In case of causing damage to the artifact during viewing, compensations must be paid in accordance with the museum policy
